Smart labelling in TMap helps you get detailed insights quickly

If you have experience in making map by using GIS software, you know that labelling on map are the most time-consuming because you always need to adjust them manually. You need to avoid overlapping, keep labels within a polygon or along a polyline. Furthmore, labels for some geograpgic features may be more important than those for other geographic features.

TMap can help you put labels on map for top symbol layer, linked polygon layer or reference layers intelligently, espiecally you can add amount labels for choropleth map, which can help to identify subtle difference between geographic regions in order to get detailed insights. The below is an exmaple.

From the map above, you can get not only whole picture for GDP Per Capita in current world from colors, but also the detail insights from labels. In order to avoid overlapping or increase map readablility, some labels may not be shown. In order to show them, you can use zoom-in or drill-down or slice to a special region.
